GIVE3D INC RECEIVES FUNDING

FROM THE NIELSEN FOUNDATION

Vineland, NJ. (7/9/18) – GIVE3D INC. is pleased to announce it has received $10,000 in grant funding from the Nielsen Foundation. These funds will support GIVE3D’s CORE (Community Outreach Revive Enrichment) Program.

GIVE3D INC (Global Institute of Virtual Education in 3D) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization established for the advancement of educational dynamics, the development of better tools for extending and expanding the role of 3D education in public and private schools, inner city schools, vocational schools and institutions of higher learning; and, in particular, underserved youth, in an effort to create an educated, technologically literate labor force in individual communities.

CORE, a program of GIVE3D INC, believes in sustaining youth engagement with 3D STEM opportunities and improving the STEM experience of all participants, in order to better challenge the economic factors characterizing the current socio-economic realities of many underserved communities.

David L. Rivers, creator and Executive Director of CORE, stated, “These are tough times. CORE defines the need for ‘learning communities,’ where people continually expand their capacity to create the results they truly desire, where new and expansive patterns of thinking are nurtured and where diverse groups of people are learning how to effectively engage together.”

The Nielsen Foundation is a private foundation funded by Nielsen, a global measurement and data analytics company. The Nielsen Foundation seeks to enhance use of data by the social sector to reduce discrimination, ease global hunger, promote effective education, and build strong leadership. Crystal Barnes, Executive Director of the Nielsen Foundation, said, “The Nielsen Foundation is committed to supporting new and innovative ideas to advance education for students, particularly in STEM areas. We’re excited to support the CORE initiative and see the power of 3D technology used in classrooms.”

About CORE
The target population to be served by this grant are communities through their libraries, public schools and universities. Beverly Watts-Nalley, GIVED3D President, stated, “We endeavor to bridge the great economic divide in providing 3D technology opportunities for students that are competitive and cutting-edge. We believe we can better challenge the economic factors characterizing the current realities of the underserved and strengthen our communities through these efforts. We are grateful to the Nielsen Foundation for the funding award.”

GIVE3D INC, founded by Skeete Nalley, was created with gifts from generous people committed to our causes. Through the support of its donors and fundholders, GIVE3D and the CORE Project strive to become a model for innovative 3D educational solutions in a globalized world with an ever-changing workforce.
